Application Engineer II → III
UCSF Weill Institute for Neurosciences · Bove Lab
Promoted twice, most recently from Engineer II to III. Served as sole engineer on BRIDGE for 9 months after my mentor's departure, keeping it reliable in production while continuing feature development. I partner with clinicians on discovery and workflow scoping for new dashboards, build interactive D3.js visualizations that help clinicians read patient trends at a glance, and drove the hiring of our current tech lead. Co-author on multiple peer-reviewed publications, first author on one, with a second in progress.
BRIDGE
UCSF · ProductionClinician-facing platform integrated with Epic via SMART on FHIR, used by 30+ clinicians across 8 departments. I own 5 of its 9 production dashboards (plus 2 in development) — including perimenopause, adolescent depression, and TBI — and integrated 7 of its real-time data sources, from Epic EHR data to clinical prediction models, with no persistent storage of PHI.
Open MS Bioscreen
UCSF · ProductionPatient-facing application for self-reported health metrics with 600+ registered accounts, enabling longitudinal tracking for multiple sclerosis research. I oversee feature development and production reliability.

Built dynamic, data-driven surveys in Ruby on Rails for clinical research data collection, and refactored front-end interfaces to improve accessibility for patients with neurological conditions.
